WHAT TO EXPECT 

  • Unique approach using the ancient sister science to yoga called Ayurveda, this will enhance the wellness benefits of your practice for improved resilience and longevity 
  • Private small groups limited to 6 for supportive, accessible adapted teaching
  • Equipment provided but you are welcome to bring your own mat

THE UNIQUE ASPECTS OF THIS APPROACH

  • The yoga is accessible and slow to allow for correct alignment to improve the strength, tone and flexibility of the body. 
  • We will incorporate self-massage of acupressure points, similar to the acupuncture points of TCM, to soothe or stimulate the organs and systems of the body/mind matrix for all round therapeutics 
  • Breath therapy techniques will add to the practice helping calm or stimulate the body as needed
  • The sessions will be practiced slowly to increase our ability for mindfulness leading to a more meditative state a known technique for dealing with stress
  • Each session will address how to tailor a practice for personalisation for your unique body, whilst in a group setting

COLETTE BARDELL

HELPING CLIENTS MANAGE CHANGE THROUGH EFFECTIVE SELF-CARE

  


Colette has been teaching yoga for 10 years. She trained with Simon Low of the Yoga Academy and continued her professional development, with training in various yoga disciplines.   She gained a diploma in Ayurveda  from  Dr Deepa Apte and is a trained chef with a passion for holistic health cusine.


She is committed to helping people skilfully navigate life’s changes through effective self-care. Having moved from London she now teaches locally in Warwickshire and at Ayurvedic Retreat Centre the Clover Mill in tThe Malverns.  


Her approach is to use the tools of Yoga and its sister science, Ayurveda as an anchor, to develop mindfulness, aid awareness, and help people find and stay connected to their true selves.

Using the tools of healting sound, posturesm breath, healing touch  and ritual, she harnesses the energetics of these techniques, to craft intelligent sessions based on working in harmony with the season and client needs.
